after seeing this on german autotrader

yes its a rare 4x4 with just 9000 miles from new straight from the
fire service

i went and bought it why ?????? already got a nice mk2 fire van but could help myself



well after 850 mile driven in a day and half (knackered) drive home finally arrived back in devon pushing though snow rain,hail,winds and to top if of sat nav broke after an hour !!!!!!!!!!! not impressed van was in munich germany gentleman spokely barely any english but we got there in the end :)

its mint!!!!!!!!!!! no rust one dent on it drives as new few small bits to sort rear brakes need sorting funny my other one needed the same i suspect compensator is seized common on ultra low miles vans
got no seat belts as they didnt have to have them in this van ?
going to swop a few bits with my other van as this only has 2 front seats i would like 3 but as same shell all swops easily

its like a museum price it was expensive but its amazing :)
and drove home no worries

i like the Mercedes at the end on the group shot 8)
they had a few of those at leyland test centre when i was a lad they run them round the pavey for a couple of weeks and they all cracked the chassis and bent behind the cab :lol:

Tony, have you considered swapping the fronts :?: to make the 4x4 a phase 1 :?:

and i'd swap the bumper with the overiders too :idea:

whats to cut :?: front panel will bolt off - as far as i know the wings are the same :D
